Moon over Buffalo is a Broadway comedy written by Ken Lugwig, who also authored Lend Me a Tenor and Crazy for You.  Moon Over Buffalo is credited as the show that brought Carol Burnett back to the Broadway stage.  The play is set in 1953 and outlines the chaos that occurs both on stage and backstage at the Erlanger Theatre in Buffalo, NY.  The rumor is that Hollywood director Frank Capra will be in the audience of the matinee show.  Add to this an over-acting,  leading man; a jealous leading lady; a confused daughter; a sassy, completely deaf costume mistress; and a pregnant understudy, and you have the recipe for an outrageous comedy.
