Sunny Zengler - A Gracie and Zenon winner who makes things lighter By: Roy Riedy |
Sunny joined HLT five years ago and since then she has participated in every show, all twenty-six of them, that have been presented at the Lakeside Playhouse since she came on the scene. She has been mentioned in four Zenon Programs: as a Chorus Member in the Sixteenth Annual Zenon Awards in October, 2001; as a nominee for a Production/Technical Discretionary Award as the Wardrobe Coordinator for the March, 2002, musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, in the Seventeenth Annual Zenon Program; as a nominee for a Production/Technical Discretionary award for her Musical Accompaniment for The Fantastics, in the Eighteenth Zenon program; and as a first time winner at the Twentieth Anniversary Zenon Awards in October, 2005, "for her outstanding achievement through maintenance of the First Alert email member messaging service, Box Office Volunteer, member of the By-Laws and Safety Committees and volunteering to digitize previous Board minutes."
Ms. Zengler has been named in 27 HLT Newsletters and 47 local news articles, 26 shows, and 4 Zenon Ceremonies for a total of 104 citations. She is one of Highlands Little Theatre's brightest and warmest volunteers. Shine on Sunny!
