Cat on a Hot Tin Roof first heated up Broadway in 1955 with its gothic American story of brothers vying for their dying father’s inheritance amid a whirlwind of sexuality, untethered in the person of Maggie the Cat.  At its core, Tennessee Williams’ masterpiece is really about nothing more than that everyone wants and needs someone to listen to, and accept, you.  Written by TENNESSEE WILLIAMS.  Produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service. May not be suitable for children under 13.

The seminal event in American history blazes to vivid life in this most unconventional of Broadway hits. 1776 puts a human face on the pages of history as we see the men behind the national icons: proud, frightened, uncertain, irritable, charming, often petty and ultimately noble figures, determined to do the right thing for a fledgling nation.  Music and Lyrics by SHERMAN EDWARDS.  Book by PETER STONE. Produced by special arrangement with Music Theatre International. Parental Guidance suggested.
