Harnick and Bock's musical trip to a Russian village delighted audiences enough to inhabit first place while Stephen Sondheim's journey to Ancient Rome took second place at the Second Annual Zenon Awards Ceremony, October 3, 1987 at Sun' n Lake Community Center. Frank Oberhausen's musical danced into the winners' circle with 7 Zenons while Marian Dunham's view of the Tiber saw 3 awards.
