1993 Winners List

Once again a Rogers and Hammerstein musical came in first and Dan Goggin's Hoboken mindlessness blithely took second place at the Eighth Annual Zenon Awards Ceremony, October 2, 1993. Frank C. Oberhausen's medieval musical mastered its competition to win 9 Zenons while Tena Conyer's convent capers were sufficiently zany to spirit away 7.

Camelot's 9 Zenons included:

• Best Actor: Peter Pollard as King Arthur
• Best Supporting Actor: David Eakin as King Pellinore
• Best Stage Manager: Janet Waldron
• Best Producers: Tena Conyer and Margie Pollard
• Best Set Design: Frank C. Oberhausen, Larry Wollangk, & Liz Buell
• Best Lighting Design: Frank C. Oberhausen
• Best Costume Design: Leena Violette
• Best Set Construction and Stage Crew: Eddie DeLoach
• Best Music and Vocal Director: Jim Lanier

Board Service Awards were presented to:

• Darlene Glaum Arabinko: Contributions to the theater as chairman of the salad bar sub-committee of the Gourmet Division
• Jeanne Stafford & Millee Havlock: Outstanding contributions to the theater as head waitresses for the Gourmet Division
• Patrick McConnell: Outstanding contributions to the theater as assistant head waiter with the Gourmet Division
• Liz Buell: Outstanding contributions to the theater in every area from Gourmet to production, to general maintenance as a volunteer who has accomplished what was needed, when it was needed, without being asked.

The P/T Discretionary Awards were presented to:

• Gordy Mattson: Set Construction and carpentry during the 1992/93 season
• Mike Fuller: Set Construction and stage crew during the 1992/93 season

The 8th Janelou Buck Significant Achievement Award was presented to Larry Wollangk for his many outstanding contributions to the theater
