Cabaret shatters Zenon records by winning 14 awards, an unrivaled accumulation that will most likely remain unchallenged for years.

The Twentieth Annual Zenon Awards will be remembered for the unbelievable sweep of Zenons made by the Kander and Ebb musical Cabaret. Co-directors Melanie Boulay and Jennifer Westergom rewrote the Zenon record book by their unprecedented triumph. The circus musical Barnum won the only other award designated for a play which was presented to Margie Pollard for her work as Assistant Director of that musical. The program was directed by Peter Pollard who, with rare exceptions, has directed the majority of the Zenon ceremonies since their inaugauration. Once again the evening will be remembered for the caliber of the entertainment that made the evening truly memorable.

• Ken Hall for his outstanding achievement in Gourmet and general maintenance. He was always there when needed.
• James McCollum for his outstanding achievement as Chairman of the By-Laws Committee, acting as a community liaison and in particular his persistent pursuit of major financial contributions to the theatre.
• Joyce Uebelhart for her tireless efforts with the Gourmet Division and assisting with finishing Anthony's Lounge.
• Sunny Zengler for her outstanding achievement through maintenance of the First Alert email member messaging service, Box Office Volunteer, member of the By-Laws and Safety Committees and volunteering to digitize previous Board minutes.

The 20th Janelou Buck Significant Achievement Award was presented to Melanie Boulay for her years of creative and winning contributions to Highlands Little Theatre.
